Proposal Preparation Services
Strategic Research Initiatives(SRI) staff and College Research Coordinators are available to assist faculty with developing proposals with multi-department and/or inter-institutional collaborations. If you would like to request assistance, please contact research@txstate.edu.
Services include:
- Finding potential collaborators (internal and external)
- Providing guidance for building and fostering connections and teams
- Providing proposal development project management (coordinating milestones, internal deadlines, meetings, etc.)
- Contacting funding agencies during proposal development process
- Sharing information about Texas State University for common proposal elements
- Providing strategic advice on making proposals more competitive
- Finding proposal reviewers (and grant writers for large proposals)
- Coordinating support letters and other non-technical pieces
Experimental Design and Analysis Services from the Initiative for Data, Analytics, and Research Methodology (DARM).
MMSA's mission is to serve as a resource that meets the need for state-of-the-art research support in a comprehensive, rigorous and interdisciplinary way. MMSA’s mission is realized by (1) increasing external funding to the level that aligns with the university's emerging research university trajectory, (2) serving as the primary point of contact for faculty seeking expertise in the design, analysis and publication of research at the highest level, and (3) provide professional development for faculty through methodology workshops coordinated through departments, colleges and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
