IBC Meeting Minutes

“In accordance with NIH Notice NOT-OD-25-082, approved Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) meeting minutes held after June 1, 2025, will be posted publicly with allowable redactions as outlined by the NIH Office of Science Policy. This initiative promotes transparency and public accessibility in biosafety practices and reflects our ongoing commitment to accountability.

The Texas State IBC meets monthly; however, meetings may be canceled if there are no voting items on the agenda. At this time, the Texas State IBC does not conduct work involving federal select agents, Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC), or Pathogens with Enhanced Pandemic Potential (PEPP).”
