IBC Meeting Dates and Deadlines

The IBC meets the third Tuesday of each month and deadlines for submitting protocols are the first Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted by a "*". The IBC chair reserves the right to remove protocols from an agenda if determined to be incomplete. Scheduled meetings may be moved or rescheduled.

To avoid delays in the review process, ensure you submit a complete application. All meetings are held in person unless determined by the chair in consultation with RIC. Hybrid meetings are not available.

Principal Investigators are encouraged to attend the monthly IBC meeting. PI’s will be sent an invitation with a specific timeslot to discuss their IBC application with the committee. Attendance of meetings provides an opportunity for research members to clarify questions or concerns the committee may have to expedite the approval process.

Per NIH Guidelines when possible and consistent with the protection of privacy and proprietary interests the IBC meetings are open to the public. If you would like to attend an IBC Monthly Meeting, please send an invitation request to ricibc@txstate.edu for that specific meeting.
