You can search for funded proposals by clicking on the databases below.

Note that for each database listed, only abstracts and limited project information may be provided. If you wish to obtain a complete funded proposal, the Strategic Research Initiatives can obtain proposals on your behalf; please contact us at research@txstate.edu with your request.

While reviewing previously funded abstracts and proposals is necessary for developing successful applications, prospective PIs are encouraged to contact awardees personally. A dialogue with a successful PI can provide further insight into the application process.

The proposal text found in these databases is protected by copyright and may be used only for nonprofit educational purposes.

Federal RePORTER (Retired, now links to archive.) 
Provides abstract and project information since 2004 for the following: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Defense (DoD), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Science Foundation (NSF), and Veterans Affairs (VA). You may search for proposal information by funding agency.

USDA Current Research Information System (CRIS) Provides abstract and project information on USDA funded projects. Click on “Assisted Search” in the upper left hand corner of this site to enter search terms.


Grant Resources Center (GRC) Abstract Library 
GRC, part of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), collects funded proposals to many federal agencies, foundations, and associations, but only proposal abstracts are accessible via the GRC website for GRC members (Texas State is a GRC member).
